COVID-19: Cases in Singapore
As of 12 May 2020, 12pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed 884 new cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore.
Among the cases:
- 0 imported cases
-
4 are cases in the community
- 3 Singaporeans/Permanent Residents, 1 Work Pass
- 3 are Work Permit holders residing outside dormitories
- 877 are Work Permit holders residing in dormitories
Of the new cases, 98% are linked to known clusters, while the rest are pending contact tracing.
626 more cases of COVID-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. To date, 3,851 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities.
Most of the 1,132 confirmed cases who are still in hospital are stable or improving. 20 are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
19,667 cases who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19 are isolated and cared for at community facilities.
21 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
